Our sound is heavily influenced from the music created in the early nineties grunge/metal scene, as well as the classic rock sounds of the sixties and seventies. RIFFACTION was formed by brothers Dale and Darrell Menzies, and soon included singer/guitarist Clayton Morrissette. We quickly began writing and recording our own songs, and playing some live shows. In the spring of 2006 we decided we would record an album. "RIFFACTION", our first record, was released in January of 2007. Clayton left the group shortly after the release of this album. We continued on this path with our second album, "A Brand New Way" released in the spring of 2008 and our third album "Resession" released January 2010.
